That is awesome and hilarious.

Lots of people hate Big Bang Theory, but they are the same in terms of what they do and say are real and accurate.

I hate the Big Bang with a passion, I don't think I've ever disliked a sitcom anymore than that one.

IMO Silicon Valley is nothing like it, it's one of the better comedies of late and actually has good material and an interesting storyline. The nerdy stuff in Silicon Valley is actually relevant to the story and actually what them type of people joke about. The jokes in the Big Bang try so hard to be "nerdy"and stupid and just an exaggeration of the nerd persona.

I heard someone describe the Big Bang as a show about smart people for dumb people. Thought it summed it up pretty good.

I used to hate that show, but I started watching it all the time once I saw the first season. I guess my prior opinion was based on a few random newer episodes. It is pretty funny. Obviously no where near as funny as Silicon Valley, but funny for basic TV. BBT falls into all the other sitcom shows though, boils down to being a show about relationships which is what prevents it from being better than what it could be.

I binge-watched the first season a few weeks back and it was highly enjoyable. It was a better way to watch the show, imo. Bout to do the same with season 2 in the near future.

I wish the seasons were longer, but I watched an interview w/ Mike Judge and he said they work on the show year-round w/ only a couple weeks off. So a longer season isn't feasible unless they really expand production, which I think HBO can definitely afford. We'll see in season 3.
