I thought Arya convinced them to go north after all when she showed the coin?

Why did she wanted to go north in the first place? I must have missed or forgotten something.
I thought she wanted to go to the Wall to hook up with Jon Snow since he's her only living family. She must think Sansa is still in King's Landing. I'm still trippin off why she didn't get in to the Vale. Even with the crazy aunt dead, I'd still think they'd receive her. They would've considered her family. Maybe they bailed right away. Anyway, yeah, I think she's going to Braavos, that it's assumed with the coin.

no one outside of the North really knows what she looks like and she doesn't have a driver's license. It would take some shit like when Sansa tells Bronze Yohn that she met him at Winterfell when he was taking his son to the wall for them to believe you.

I would still think the guard at the gate would've told his superior that someone was there claiming to be Arya Stark. Seems like the higher ups would want to know that kind of thing. In this case, Little Finger and Sansa would've been there to ID her.

George R.R. Martin isn't thrilled that some people are concerned he'll die before completing work on his A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy novel series. "I find that question pretty offensive, people speculating about my death and my health," said Martin, 65, in an interview with Swiss newspaper Tagesanzeiger. "So fuck you to those people." Merely saying it apparently wasn't enough; Martin also flipped the bird to make his feelings resoundingly clear. Martin has been slaving away on The Winds of Winter, the sixth novel, for some time now, but has refrained from offering fans a firm release date — or even a general window as to when they can expect it. He plans to wrap the series with a seventh novel, A Dream of Spring.

The third D&E story's the best. It even has a couple of characters from the show in it.

Also a little trivia. GRRM said that there's three characters in the game of thrones series that are descendants of Dunk. The popular theory is that they're Small Paul, Brienne of Tarth & Hodor. People say that Paul is "slow as an aurochs and thick as a castle wall", which was Dunk's mantra. Brienne has a shield made to disguise herself on the road with Podrick and uses a sigil of a random shield she remembers hanging in her dining hall, which is Dunk's shield. Brann has a vision of a 7 foot tall knight kissing a woman in Winterfell- the next planned D&E is supposed to be called The She-Wolves of Winterfell.

Just throwing this out there, but that "comicbook19" chick on youtube made her Epic History premium content free. She goes deep into the history of the houses and is pretty thorough and easy to digest. Potential spoilers might be in there I'm not sure I just saw them and am watching the house baratheon one. But so far it seems like pretty detailed stuff from the books.

i just read on some other website that they planning to cut out from series the part of Catelyn Stark after her dead - if this happens this will be gayest move ever
Not sure why they would do that. Maybe they think it would be too fucking weird. But then again they have Ser Beric Dondarrion who was brought back to life like 6 times so idk.

Here is an explanation I found:
:::::::::::::SPOILER:::::::::::::::SPOILER:::::::::::::::SPOILER:::::::::::::::

"Game of Thrones" director Alex Graves spoke to EW in a separate interview about Lady Stoneheart.* Graves explained it didn't make sense to bring back Fairley to become a cold-hearted killer.*

"But to bring back Michelle Fairley, one of the greatest actresses around, to be a zombie for a little while - and just kill people? It is really sort of, what are we doing with that? How does it play into the whole story in a way that we're really going to like? It just didn't end up being a part of what was going to happen this season," Graves explained to EW.

"And finally one [more] reason: In case you didn't notice, a lot happens this season ... To add that in is something they opted out of. But what's funny is that it was never going to be in the season, yet it took off on the Internet like it was going to happen."

Are you reading the books or the graphic novels?
The books.

I got first Hedge Knight graphic novel where Duncan meets Aegon. I liked it, but it only took me about an hour to read. How's the book version?

For Catlyn, I wouldn't be surprised if they're going to do it next season. That scene happened at the very end of the book. No reason they couldn't make next season real heavy on Beric Dondarrian and Catlyn. When I read that quote, I thought maybe they were trying to throw a red herring in there to surprise the fans.
