Im a book reader and I was never a fan of Stannis. I do understand why people liked him though - he was the rightful heir to the crown. He was truly only concerned with what is "right" (following the laws, enforcing them, etc.). I just didn't really like the guy. He had some good lines in the book and was better. But I understand why the show downplayed him a bit when the true story was always going to be about Jon and Khaleesi, Starks and Targarians, Ice and Fire.
Anyways, what do people think Tyrion was worried about during the boat sex scene? He was standing outside the room for a minute, looking concerned.
I read someone bring up a good point, and I remembered the last thing he said to Cersei. She was basically saying fuck off the entire time he was there, trying to convince her to agree to the truce and send her army north to fight the dead. Then suddenly he said "you're pregnant", the cameras cut, and next we see Cersei suddenly has a change of heart. So the thought is that perhaps Tyrion offered an agreement to Cersei, that her child could be the heir to Dany after Dany dies, since she can't have children. Makes sense since the last episode Tyrion was so concerned with the succession of the throne, should Dany die, and Cersei was really hammering home how much the Lannister family meant to her. So when Tyrion later saw that they were smashing, he got worried that maybe she will have kids after all, this fucking up the agreement he made with Cersei.
But the only thing with this is Cercei reneged on the deal anyways, so it probably doesn't matter. And of course I suspected she was faking the pregnancy, to control Jamie.
I was thinking after that maybe he offered himself, knowing that Cersei hates him so bad and wants nothing more than his head on a plate. But that wouldn't explain why the concern of the sex.
