If you get a hold of Windows XP you can upgrade without deleting any of your media. You're running 2000 pro so I'm assuming your hard drive might be old and near its end which might be why you are experiencing freezing and other halts. I recomend for you to backup your music/video/anything important to cd-r's/dvd's/external hard drives sometime soon. If you do get a new hard drive, just install your new operating system (XP) and reload all of your media after scanned for virus'. Also if you can hear your hard drive making wierd noises during booting get that shit backed up soon.

Anybody know a way to prove that an email was sent by a certain date/time? Ignorant-ass bitch at school (professor) sayin she never saw my email... the email's been sent for over a week... have that shit in my SENT folder... forwarded to her and she still dont believe me... there's an attached file on there that clearly states that file was never modified... she sayin I just finished the project and emailed her the project and somehow I modified the date...

Well, see the thing is if I attempt to back up my files on cd's, the shit will eventually freeze. It wont allow me that kind of time! Also, I can't browse the computer from my network, so I cant back them up that way either.

There is no strange noise at startup coming from the hardrive.

After work, I was thinking about trying a windows repair: boot-up with w2k CD and use the Repair Options. See how that goes.

im trying to back up re:2 dvd but it stops at 14%, im thinkin its jus an old program.

so i found out that the dvd is protected, i guess its something new. it has a fille of a little boy jumping n with the shrink it jus freezes up here is something i found. but i dont know what the fuck it means

Using the attached DVD_VIDEO.PSL.txt rename it to DVD_VIDEO.PSL and use this file in STEP 2.

1) In DVD Decrypter insert Resident Evil 2
2) From File/Protective Sectors List/Import - Load the DVD_VIDEO.PSL
3) Decrypt the DVD to Hard Drive
4) With DVD Shrink load the DVD from Hard Drive and Shrink to your needs.

depends on what kinda router you get, say u get a dlink router,goto their site n it got info on howto set it up n shit.... its really easy, u just gotta know where 2 go...

I have been having an error and I am not sure if it is affecting anything but everytime I boot the computer it says unable to run C:\windows\system32\bridge.dll does anyone know what this is. or how to fix it.

nm fixed it, it was under view on the toolbar

Im havin a problem that dont seem to be fatal, but its annoying as hell. Everytime I go to websites, these porn sites pop-up and shyt. I've ran every spyware/adware software I got on my computer to get rid of it, but it dont seem to work. Thing is, this shyt didnt start happening til my brotha got his ass on here downloadin all that bullshyt off Limewire. Downloading every fuckin thing he see. How do I get rid of this shyt?
