When was the last time the 49ers played against the Cowboys and/or Green Bay? The 49ers and Cowboys were rivals in the 80's and 90's (when they were battling for NFC supermacy) but they barely play each other now so how could they be rivals? If the 49ers played the Cowboys next year nobody would even mention rivalry because they haven't played each other in a long time.
The Skins are the Cowboys rivals and the Bears are the Packers rivals. The Steelers and Ravens are rivals. Y'all suckaz gotta lot to learn.

tony ask any SF fan if they like the cowboys and they will all talk about how much they hate them. most are the same with GB. colts/pats are more recent, yes, but if SF were to play Dallas I guarantee that there will be mentions during the game and on sportscenter about the rivalry. shit, they still talk about the raiders/pats/tuck rule every now and then on tv
@ Tree... Like I said... learn how to hold your own. The only reason the Niners and Raiders have any kind of rivalry is because when they play it's the "battle of the bay" and that's it! It's not like they face each other twice a year or every year and it's a hard fought battle each time they play. That's what makes a rivalry a rivalry (two teams that know each other well,play each other often and it's usually a hard fought battle). If the Raiders were in L.A. the 9ers and Raiders wouldn't be rivals.
Example: The Steelers and Raiders were rivals back in the day (in the 70's) because they usually faced each other in the playoffs for AFC Surpemacy.
Green Bay and S.F. used to be rivals when Steve Young and Brett Favre was leading their teams and they kept meeting up in the playoffs. Understand? S.F. and G.B. aren't rivals anymore because they haven't played a meaningful game against each other in a while. Learn something Castro boy!

They may mention the rivalry they had back in the 90's when the 49ers and Cowboys kept meeting in the NFC Championship. The 49ers and Cowboys aren't rivals anymore....that rivalry is "dead"... as is the same with Green Bay. How or why do you think they became rivals? Because they kept meeting up in playoff/championship games and had championship calibur players facing off against each other. That can't be said now because the 49ers have been losing for the last 5-6 years.
