u n dat sucks pretty much, ionno y 40 put out this garbage ass single...that's pretty much the worst track on the album. i understand that it was put out to reach a huger audience but imo that song sucks. can't hat on 40, but that song is pure trash...

I wouldn't go that far. R&B songs have a higher upside than rap. Plus the ladies dig usher for his looks, singing and dance moves before a song even gets played...the same doesn't apply to 40. 40's fanbase is mostly dudes. I think this will be a huge single for 40, but nowhere near the impact or staying power of any Usher track no less YEAH. I think if pushed right this single could get 40 close if not gold record status.

I think it will do ok but "yeah" had diane sawyer dancing on goodmorning america like a zombie. There is no way it will be close to "Yeah". That shit helped Usher go Diamond. I never want to hear that song again. Damn that shit was played.

you're right, but this track is just not my type of music...i guess it will do pretty well on billboard but for ppl like us who don't listen to commercial songs it's weak. but that's just my opinion.

im not saying as BIG as "yeah" necessarily, cuz yeah, the 3 guys in yeah are already huge artists, i just mean, that it could build up and i could see it playing NON STOP in clubs and on tv...the video is ur typical summer club video, and the beat, i like, i think is dope ya know, and i just think it could build momentum since it came out a little before summer and i think that they'll push it to play a lot...

just in terms of longevity i could see it getting big now and still being played in september, thats all..just this years summer hit is what im saying..

It will be big but it would be pretty hard to get as big as Yeah. That shit was HUGE and I don't think the song is capable of going there. I could care less if U and Dat is played out because it's not the song that I care about, it's about the impact it's going to make on the nation to let them know about the Bay. If this song is as successful as it could be it's only going to open more doors for the bay.
