Im not saying anything about hyphy music in my original post. The only point I was trying to make is to me it seems like we're getting off to a slow start this year. Im an artist myself and I got some shit up my sleeve too.
I know all the established artists are gonna bring it this summer and towards the end of the year. It seems like people only want to talk about hyphy shit. The original post made no mention of certain styles.

for every 1 good hyphy song there is atleast 100 that comes out that sucks! So that one good song gets lost in the shuffle or niggas bite off of his song and make 100 just like it. The Bay always talks about people stealing their shit, but the moment the Bay got a chance to shine, what did it do? Starting copying eachother and tried to call it a movement. That shit was cool at first, but niggaz got lazy. They just started making the same song over and over and over. There is still hope out here as a whole. Quinn, Kesha Cole, The Frontline, EA-SKI, Ric Rock, The Pack, Clyde Carson, Ya Boy and Goapplle all Bay artist that have not put anything out this year. The year is young, but the Bay needs to be careful who they put their trust in in putting a good look on the Bay in the national spotlight.
