i'm asking because as you may know i had a brother go to both.it really fucked with me cause he's my older brother and i coulda had him been there when i was growing older through out highschool.i missed out on having sumone to look up to and guide me.

he got out right before i graduated.

it's lonely to think about cause not many people have people so close get locked up.

yep, my older brother too he is in right now
for the last 5 years he has been in about 75% of the time and when he is out he is back to his old habits on the run.
He is my bro but he is his own man and makes his own decisions, i used to get pissed about it but somepeople dont like to listen to anything that they dont want to hear.
he was in for my high school graduation, my 18th b day, my 21st b day, fuck he was even in for his 21st b day

i dont really trip any more about it, but Mom takes shit real hard, especially in 1999 when he was in the Fresno Bee's Crime Stoppers page(a full page of about 20 or 30 wanted fugitives with pictures and discriptions and crimes they are wanted for)
She was so fuckin upset, dissappionted, mad, sad, all i could tell her was he is his own person and does shit that he wants to do, you cant help someone who does not want to be helped

one of my uncles went to jail 2 years ago for beating his bitch
she was white, so he ended up getting deported bak 2 PI...
i was cleaning out his house about 3 months ago and found a gang of porno mags and a vibrating dildo.... very very disturbing. at least he wasn't a close uncle...

yo i feel yall...i'm only 16 but my godbrother been locked up since he was like 12 and i was 11, now he like 17. i just miss the fun we used to have. he aint gettin out till he 21. thats a bitch. the funny thing is, we've always liked the same music. when got locked up, we was all into the snoop and dre thing. as time passed, we both somehow got introduced to the bay area and sac at the same times. i went to visit him once, and i was like, yo this cat named x-raided is hot man....he was like "i know, i got hs tapes." anyways, my 2 cents.

Never a family member,but I've had friends in who did crimes that range from 2nd degree murder,manslaughters,armed robberies.Most of these guys I'd trust with my own kids,but something went wrong for some reason.My old friends little bro is doin life with no parole in Walla Walla,and started his bid at 15 years young.He was all of about 5'4 140LBS.Needless to say his arm was broken in his first 3 weeks there.If I ever hit it big,he's gettin Johnny Cochran on his team.

ill be sending off a few letters tomarrow for my bros b day he turned 24 on the 21st, its his 4th b day in the pin.
lol shits crazy its like every year im sending him pictures, or papers that he wants, cause he will get out then go back in and not have shit with him agian.

My cousin...got out last year or less, but hes been to prison off and on selling drugs and shit...kinda dumb cuz he never learned his lession till they sent him to san quinton. now hes been clean and has CHANGED but untill hes clean for like 2 years i'll know hes better.

when sumone is locked up theres only so much you can do.but the littlest thing you do for them like send them letters,pictures,music,packages and phone calls and visits mean alot.

during highschool i spent my weekends visiting my brother.in y.a. it was cool cause we could bring him home cooked meals.it was a bitch to travel so far but we did anyways.

whutever my brother needed i made sure he got.thats all i could really do for him.

@ dosia i feel you.you can't blame your mom for feeling bad.she did'nt raise your brother to have him end up in prison.your right though if thats whut your brother got himself into that many times you can't really blame anyone else but himself.it's like knowing sumbody hooked on drugs people that are so far gone you can't help them unless they want to help themselves.stay up dog i know how you and your family feel.

@mr2productions.i did the same thing always sending tapes in packages.same type of music too all he wanted was sactown rap and i went out filled out the forms and had it packaged from the store all that.i remember we raised hell in one record store cause we called to make sure they could package stuff for us and when we got there they gave us sum bullshit about bringing our own box and we ended up talking hella shit to the mangager and slaming the tapes around the counter.that shit was funny to think back on but it was bullshit.and don't worry about it dog he'll be out soon.as soon as he turns 21.

@bammer.thats how it happens sumthings just happen out of nowhere.the shock of it all never seems leaves you.

to everybody that known sumbody locked up.stay up try to be there for them.

My bro, my uncles, some friends. It sucks balls. But the thing I find most disturbing is how the prison system treats the families of those incarcerated. It's horrible. I mean they treat people so bad just b/c they have a family member who did something illegal. I think they do it to make U not want to go to jail to visit any more. Further plunging the incarcerated person into a institutionalized framed of mind. Like my brother said "I went in as a petty criminal but I came out w/ a Ph. D. in crime-o-nology".:dead:

i never really visited my brother in prison but we used to visit in y.a.

my bro did'nt want us to travel so far when he got transfered to prison so i don't really know whut it's like.

before he went to the permanent prison out in the desert he was in the chino prison for a while waiting to be transfered.when we went it was behind a glass window over the phone like in the county jail.

that hella sucked cause in y.a. you can bring your own food and sit at a picnic table and take pictures and all that.

i don't think i would of liked visiting my brother behind sum glass and a phone.that would have sucked.

My dad has been in and out of jail.for either selling drugs or using them or shit like that.The only time He really went to Prison for some shit he didnt do.was when This crackhead bitch said he stole her Microwave or some shit.and My dad wasnt even around.and my godbrother spend a year almost in ya for having a pound of weed and getting caught with it.and breaking and entering when He was 14.He hasnt been in trouble since.hes 19 now

From the time I was 15 until present I have had close friends locked up from Folsom to Soledad to Corcohran to pelican Bay and many more. I have done a little time myself, but now as I get older I am tired of all of the shit. I got friends that have been in and out so many times its pathetic. I have been going through a lot of shit recently as one of my closest friends in the world just got picked up on attempted murder charges. He is looking at at least 10 with his priors. I cant see how people can keep getting caught up doing dumb shit. I have always been there to support people that are locked up, but I am getting tired of it. I feel for all my peoples that are currently in, but the ones that just keep going back over dumb shit are wearing on me. Just a little vent.

my family is lucky my brother is'nt like that.he's crazy but he works for a living and is getting whut he wants out of life.he is always busy,respects my parents.

well he wants a better job but he's doing alright now.he knows the hurt he put us through and the only thing he can do is do better for himself.

so we're all proud of him in a way.

we don't blame him for getting in sum trouble.we never did.you'd have to know whut he done to understand that.but thats none of your guys's business.

I've also had a lot of people close to me get locked up. My brother got locked up in 99. He just got out in March. We had this cookout for him like the 2nd day he was home and these assholes came and shot it up. I was standing between him and this dude in a wheelchair (the one I used to beat up). They both got shot but I didn't. It ended up that 3 people got shot that day. It was so fucked up. I was lucky cuzz I was standing like 30 feet from the dudes that were shootin. But my brother didn't even go to the hospital. He said he didn't wanna go back to jail (he was bustin back) Also, one of my best friends is locked up cuzz they said he shot up the police station. He just got out the hospital and was still gone off them hospital drugs (his baby's mom stabbed him in the neck). So I don't know if he did it or not. My boy got 23.5 to 47 years for shootin this dude that tried to rob him. Dude ended up dying in the hospital, but not from the gunshot wounds. That was real fucked up too.


Damn, threads like these make a person long winded.:(

As far as I know he is. He got shot in the arm, nothing critical. But it looked lilke somebody took a potato peeler and scraped out a big chunk of his skin. I was real swole that day...3 people got shot, and I scuffed up my brand new white Air Force One's when I was crawling on the ground. It was crazy, everybody else's car got shot up except mine.

sounds like we all got road doggs on the other side of the fence, my boy Josue is servin the last few years of a 10 year bid.....He stabbed a broad in San Bruno 40 times and cracked her skull open wit a crowbar.....he got the most time out of the people involved, him, his potna and this broad.....he scheduled to get released in 2005 sometime....
