I've planned my education around getting a job outside of the US. If McCain gets elected, I'll probably relate it to the fact that republicans have rigged yet another election. If we have another 4 years of conservative government, or if our economy completely fails, I'll start applying for jobs in Madrid or the UK. Europe is definitely the way to go. I talked to my girl, and she's on board.

Man, US Economy is running the world... it fails, so does everything else. If Wall street up is doing good, so is the world economy... but not all are as strong as the US.

Living the Philippines can be nice, but you have to make a decent amount of money to do what you could do as an American visiting. PI doesnt have a strong economy and its why most of the country is poor. People live off 2-3 bucks a day.

Japan - I've been to Japan 5 times and I love it there. I heard they are "closet" racists if you live there, but my friends have told me to move there and show no signs of it. Japan is probably one of the best places IMO to live... you just will never own a house or be a citizen. Plus you have to be compete with guys that do serious hard work and work long hours.. while alot of americans can get lazy and mouth off.

Canada and Europe are great places too... I think its stabilizing yourself there. Getting a job, having place.
