Lyrically I gotta agree I don't think no group in SD is fuccin with them N-Hood niggas from everything I done heard! but them beats on that album all pretty much sounded the same 2 me though with no real bumps for the boulevard, plus it sounded just like the beats on C-band's album Cricet's blue Damien, etc...etc..., that's one of the problems you run into though when you use the same producers over and over within a Clicc, niggas should have branched out and worked with different producers 2 give them a different sound and distinguish them traccs.
Don't think for a second that Cricet's style is limited or reduntant. Shahid Mustafa and ILMOBB came outta Chicago to get on that Cracles Rhythym and ended up completing an entire album in less than 48 hours. Complex, D.I. The Treacherous, and Lil Bay-Loc "Tha Cut-Throat" came thru on the project and the sound that Cricet plugged it with is gonna blow your mind, its on some next level shit like you've never heard before, but I'll let you be the judge of that. The hospitality, professionalism and work ethic of Cricet and VMF is unrivaled in the lab and cat's could take a lesson from studying their game. THE MOVEMENT: VOLUME 1 is scheduled to hit the streets Saturday June 11th, so check it out.
