I've seen hoods a couple of times in the past. They've fallen off a lot though in recent years, and are constantly changing up their line-up with the exception of mikey hoods. I always loved mikey's rants that he makes during shows and calling out people.

Some good sacto hardcore bands are trash talk and killing the dream.

Dance Gavin Dance are post-hardcore from Sac. I love 'em, but for a lot of people they're an acquired taste.

That is far from screamo though. The bastarized meaning of screamo maybe, but not real screamo. Which is more or less old school type emo. I fucking hate genres/labels sometimes lol.

Whatever happened to Link 80? Kinda vanished into nothing. Right around that time though there was a bunch of good ska core bands like that.... Lesdystics, and the Koi, and Shakedown... Shakedown was more of a Sublime sound though.

Oh yeah I knew that. Danielle Steel's son. I know they got a new singer and shit, but never knew what happened from there... I saw a couple shows, and I know they did a couple split 7"s with Capdown from the UK.
