Why do some people choose to walk around the rest of the day with this shit on their head? Do they tell you you cant wash it off or what?

I seen some a couple people at the store today and I thought I was stuck in "The Serpernt & the Rainbow" movie. Zombies walking around buying fruit.

I gave up drinking last year and it made a positive impact on my life.

This year I'm not buying music or things I dont need during this period and instead, donating the money to the Red Cross.
