damn that is crazy, i've donated $30 so far. Ill donate another $20 today since i just got paid.

I would donate more but i really would like to see how my donations DIRECTLY helps other people. I've worked for a non-profit before and i saw thousands of dollars blown away on the stupidest things. Lunch-meetings, un-neccesary administrative costs... etc.

Not to knock your post or nuthin but....

I've heard that non-profit organizations were really ALL profit. A small percentage of what you donate actually goes towards the cause and the rest back into the "organization" or they pockets....anybody else know?

what have you seen?

im from bosnia. and i was just a kid 6-7 years old we had the war going on. which started in 1992. some of you might remember it. what ive seen was peoples heads being cut off in front of me, people raped in front of me. people shot in front of me. all kinds of shit. everywhere you turned there was a dead body. ground full of blood. nobody should see stuff like that in their lifetime. this world is full of some sick people tho

Naw ww2 was a lot worse than Iraq....66 million people died in that war...iraq or this earthquake aint nothin close to that shit...the only thing in history that was just as bad was the genocide of the native americans...which is basiclly an untold number but was deep into the millions...

The Civil War was pretty bad too.
