It makes feel thankful for all the shit I take for granted. Simple things like a cup of city tap water... those fools would murk for that.

This is the type of destruction that will shape the country for generations to come.

unless you lived through the Earthquake, Tsunami, or the Iraq bombings your full of shit
Naw ww2 was a lot worse than Iraq....66 million people died in that war...iraq or this earthquake aint nothin close to that shit...the only thing in history that was just as bad was the genocide of the native americans...which is basiclly an untold number but was deep into the millions...

damn that is crazy, i've donated $30 so far. Ill donate another $20 today since i just got paid.

I would donate more but i really would like to see how my donations DIRECTLY helps other people. I've worked for a non-profit before and i saw thousands of dollars blown away on the stupidest things. Lunch-meetings, un-neccesary administrative costs... etc.

I agree with you here, that's one thing I really hate about Non-Profit Org's...they're supposed to be helping people and you see some shit like that and their CEO's pulling in like 380k (United Way CEO) last year, SMH.

Real shit! grit & extent of situation caught right here! Some people help some loot they need to offor water and foor in exchange for help cleaning bodies and roads ect. Sad I hear Seattle's next they say the potential for most catastrophic quake in history is below and all around us. We have better structures but much death is still anticipated. I cant Imagen running the city looking for lil ones in my family ( God willing im not being lifted in to the bucked of a dozer myself so I can look for them) RIP
