I don't know anyone who owns a gun, never even saw someone shoot one, let alone heard a real gunshot in my life (Im 24). I can walk ANY street at any time of the day in my city (close to 600.000 people live here) without being afraid of some asshole blowing my brains out with a glock or a fuckin AK. Of course i could get stabbed or beaten up, but i can run pretty fast (just in case) and i doubt many people here have the best knife-throwing skills.
