Not possible. They used to work 24/7. People work less and get more for it. More rights, insurances, etc.!

The other day my wife saw a 'foreigner' (white guy) with a Chinese woman going to the movies. Two Chinese guys next to her started talking how those foreigner cannot find jobs in their own country, so that they come to China. Foreign trash...lol
I am considering to move to Thailand, also because of economic reasons.

If I have to be poor, why not in a country where people are more happy, there is good food and lots of sun.

The second amendment was meant for all Americans to be armed against the government. It was never really meant for hunting or even for home defense(other than against your own government). The founding father's of America wanted to make sure that if the government of America ever got too controlling or abused their power that the citizens of America would be armed so they could take back control of the country. That was the real point of Democracy that the people actually had the power.

I always marvel at the inability of Americans to grasp the simple concept of laws written in one era becoming obsolete or even detrimental hundreds of years later.

Which leads to absurd practices such as the the mythologization and even worshiping of the constitution as if it's a holy book...

The Constitution contains their Bill of Rights, and if you don't understand it and don't like it then maybe you don't belong in this country. Go back to the country you came from.

1. You're talking about the Bill of Rights. That's only a part of the whole thing

2. What I said applies to the Bill of Rights too - things can be added to, changed, or removed from it, if necessary

1. Yes, I am talking about Bill of Rights. That is what this topic is about, and it seems to be the part you don't understand.

2. That's not the way it works. They can't just change and erase the constitution over night
.

3. You're full of shit and you didn't really know what you were talking about in the first place.

I hope you realize that If laws, including the Constitution, were not amenable to change, we would still be living under tribal law and we would be stoning our daughters for merely looking at a man other than the one they were arranged to marry when they were 2-year old.

Because we need less protection from the government of today than people did from the government at the time the laws were written :ermm:

Are you serious?

Back in the 1700s, it may have been possible to resist the government because the government had the same guns people had.

In the 21st century, you are 100% dead because the power balance has shifted so much in favor of the government.

Precisely because of the power imbalance, and because of the changes in both technology and society that have happened meanwhile, that argument (if it ever was valid) does not any more outweigh the negative consequences of everybody having guns.

Japan has 40% of the population of the US, it records about a dozen gun violence deaths a year, in the US several hundreds die every year just from guns firing accidentally. and about ten thousand in total...

It's hard to argue with that stastic.

Meanwhile, big business has bought the government and has quite successfully created a corporate police state. Somehow people having guns has not prevented that. Not only that, but it is the people who are most keen to have guns that have supported that transition...

So our government doesn't have the power to become overbearing anymore? I'm sorry alot of people aren't going to like this statement but i do believe this administration is the closest thing we've ever had to communism. Obama is the most radical pesident who's ever been in office.

In my personal opinion our rights have never been in more danger and i'm not just talking about the second amendment. However when you think about it the second amendment is the only thing that really levels the playing field between us and the government. You're a fool to think that the federal government will always have your best intrests at heart from now until the end of time. Sounds like you're living in a fantasy world.

"Communism (from Latin communis - common, universal) is a revolutionary socialist movement to create a classless, moneyless[1][2] and stateless social order structured upon common ownership of the means of production,"

^that doesn't sound like obama.

Bringing the upper class down instead of bringing the lower class up to be on par with everybody else is what this adminstration has taken steps to accomplish! You don't see that? Kind of sounds like a good portion YOUR defenition if you ask me!

1. Just above your post, I wrote some very relevant to what you posted things

2. Learn the difference between communism and totalitarianism.

3. The nominally communist states themselves never claimed they were communist - the official position was that communism was being built but was yet to be achieved. This tells you how close they were to the ideal....

Guns aint even shit w the baddest military in the world, because the only people that are in fighting condition are those sick racist militia muthafuckas in the south who wanna secede from the states anyway.
