LOL, Peppers was being held all night. Everytime they showed Rodgers scrambling during a reply, you would also see Pepper being clearly held. These were clear holds.... but anyway, great game. The Bears could've run the ball a bit more, but props to Martz for being aggressive and taking shots down the field.

8 pages, really? I'm not reading all that shit.

So I'll say this . . . Can't give up a franchise record in penalties and expect to win a game against your division rival.

I hope the Lions beat both teams. Fuck the NFC North!

You can thank Peppers for a lot of that. I believe there were 5 penalties that he was responsible for - 2 holding calls against him and 3 false starts from the guy who was aligned across from him.

He was a beast last night. His stats wont show up as that impressive (no sacks) but he was causing havoc all night and that blocked FG of course
yeah i was watching him bait them all game, then the camera switching to the lineman and the look on their face was priceless lol

yeah he makes a huge difference. The big problem I see is in the middle, with Tommy Harris out due to apparently playing shitty this year that's not good. The cover 2 relies heavily on the guy in the middle to cause problems and rush the QB. That's why their defense was so good that superbowl year because Tommy Harris was playing at his best, he was doubled and triple teamed and still made plays, which of course would allow the guys on the outside to get to the QB faster and easier as well. Chicago doesn't have that right now so there isn't much of a pass rush besides Peppers.

Their run D is great though they are #1 against the rush only allowing 39 yards per game so far.

I thought cover 2 also relys on big hitting safties to cause turn overs as well? or is that tampa 2?

you guys didn't get a turn over till late in the game, which is pretty impressive for rodgers and his recievers, ball runners.

right you gotta give credit to rodgers and green bay for doing a good job protecting the ball because turnovers are essential especially if they aren't getting to the QB all that much. I had a feeling it would happen eventually Urlacher has done that so many times in crucial times, a perfect example is against Arizona in that crazy come from behind victory a few years back.

As a Bears fan I would say Im happy with our team this season as long as that Oline will hold off and Martz will continue to tweak it against certain teams. Im also pleased with the coaching staff for once.

same here man, expectations were low going into the season so to be 3-0 that's pretty huge. I think they will only get better offensively, I mean it's the 3rd game with Mike Martz. Cutler & the WR's still need to get some of the timing down also Martz is still learning the players and as time goes on he'll learn how to utilize each of their skills best.

I would like to see more of Forte and Taylor in the backfield at the same time on passing plays. Both are such good receivers it would be a challenge for any defense to cover both of them plus all the WRs.

they didn't give up and urlacher and briggs made the play when it counted, I like your chances against a worse QB to cause turn overs and sacks while pass rushing. Bears D is still solid so far and Martz and Cutler will get it done, I also like your chances of playoffs this year and finishing about the vikings.

ehhhh, I was close.

what a great win! I'm not goin to lie, I thought at this point we would be 1-2. so 3-0 is awesome! Packers should of let us score at the end, and Cutler should of took a knee, but whatever, we still won. My phone was blowin up the whole game with friends talkin shit.

I also came out with a home cooked meal of whatever I want by my girl (her family is from wisconsin)

totally off topic but @ Rossibreath and the other wisconsin folks. I Visited Wisconsin two years ago with my girl and stayed up in Door County for 6 nights at a B&B on lake michigan, and I loved it, helped a huge snapping turtle that was in the middle of the highway get out the road (and he was not happy bout it, hella mean tryin to bite us), saw my first lightning bug, and got bite by many horse flys. I was hella trippin off people riding motorcycles with no helmets, I was like WTF? and she then told me it was legal to lol. but anyways, that was first time to the midwest and it was hella cool. great state to visit. also stayed in Sheboygan falls for a night. just my two cents about wisconsin, lol.

another big game this week for Chicago in New York. Payton Manning's little sister Eli is going down! Peppers is going destroy him all night so I'm not worried about the pass at all. CHI's defense is #1 against the run so I expect them to do fairly well against NY. Should be a win for chicago but New York is always a tough place to play.

:::crosses fingers for 4-0 start::::

Giants passing for about 250 yards a game and over 110 rushing, but manning equally leads the league in picks (zomg yes, less than smith).

pressure pressure pressure

I think the bears got this.

I just checked my sports book and I see that they have the Giants as the favorites?! Hmm, I'm really, really not trying to be a homer here but I think they got this one wrong. I don't see why chicago shouldn't be favored. Whatever, I'm putting money on da bears two weeks in a row fuck it I'm going deep!

Im pulling for the Bears this year cuz there the underdog and it obviously reflects in the odds. Same thing the year before they went to the Superbowl in 05
