Who signing the muthafuckin checks? fuck an a & r

Yeah the label owner sign the checks but they not the ones who look for the talent. Theres blacks that are powerfil and run the major level its not just old white men like you said see what im saying.

its not the labels fault on the trend or sound in music today i never got why people blame labels its the fans and critics fault honestly bc they support it and demand it. The labels just a business and about the money so they go by whats popular to the majority of people. If the dance songs are whats popular and not the serious songs then of coarse they going with the dance songs bc thats money. why invest in a artist if you not gonna make what you put in or more back.

Anyway its a new day and age the 90's are over and the older crowdand artist gonna have to except it.

How do you think run Dmc, Full Force, Kool Moe Dee, kurtis blow, africkan bambataa and them rappers felt when gangsta rap & Bass music took over in the 90's and they shit wasnt in style anymore?

I dont see shit wrong with the music now except everybody raps now and I cant dig the tight jeans and mohawks either. But shit if you think about it too short, ice cube, ll cool j, dr dre and them wore tight jeans in the 80's

I dont have no problem bc i dont listen to them songs i neevr even heard of that song. Its simple if you dont like the music then dont listen to it bc its not gonna stop getting play just bc you dont like it. The youngsters of today have different tastes so no need for us to down talk they artists and what they bump bc we sound really old doing so.

Just let them kids be and enjoy they music our era is over face it we(25 and up) old now.

^^^That argument kills me. Youngsters dont buy albums ma nigga. 25 and up we dont have no beef wit soulja boy or new boys or the boy boys. But can we git a lil Mitchy in between damn, can i git a hour of new west coast shit. You can jerk all day long jus give me an hour of new west coast shit. The math aint right 24hr in a day 15 songs in rotation = 0 time for new artists
