My point was that the track had Fabolous(a pop artist) on it. I'm not saying anyone who makes a pop album is gonna blow up, I'm saying that making an album that appeals to pop fans will get their attention.

Yea I do think they will feel it. I used to listen to "hip-pop" but when I first heard "Here Comes Keak Da Sneak" I was lookin everywhere for it. Then I heard "Alright Cool" and there ya go....
Did you just call fabolous pop? Man get the fuck outta here.
HIm and his brother Paul Cain are rippers. The traingle offense Budden, Fab and Cain.

That's right, times are changing. People think rappin about cars, money and hoes is fantasy, but I think it's just the opposite. It's fantasy when you hear shit about killin a nigga and eatin baby guts.

Artists can make radio friendly music and still keep it gangsta if you ask me.

V-BOY, let me know when you get up on northern ridaz, I wanna check out that fix.

well whatever...everyone backing up the mainstream shit i guess...obviously its cool to cater to the times and make money...but the point is that artists like yukmouth and keak's older albums will always be 1000 times tighter than the new shit they're putting out...well maybe not to all the squares...ive heard so many nerds that heard "there goes keak da sneak" and all the sudden they thought he was tight...and any time they pop in that cd all they do is goto that track. lmao...get outta here with that shit

Obviously you don't see the strategy. By making commercial albums they can be heard by fans who like commercial music. Then their new fans will learn about their underground albums thus bringing new fans to the underground. I bet alot of folks didn't know about 40 till he did a track with Fabolous. How many new fans do you think he has after doing that one track?

That's called making big moves.

whoa, real talk alert

someone from the bay needs to blow way past 40, so yall can hate cuz hes mainstream, or would you just like it cuz dude reppin the bay, man...some of yall more concerned with an artists area code than his music, and fans want an artist that makes no $ and artists want $...amazing how funny the game is

That's what I'm sayin. It's pretty lame how people can say they support an artist but as soon as that artist trys to do somethin big that means he's fallin off.

Don't listen to me though, I'm a square...damn, and a nerd. LOL this coming from a guy who has part of a Dru Down verse in his sig...oh and what album is that on? That's right, the new "commercial" Yuk.

WHAT IS "BIG" TO YALL. YOU ARE SQUARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE YOU THINK YOUR ONLY BIG WHEN YOU CHANGE YA WHOLE STYLE TO RAPPIN BOUT CARS, GET EAST COAST TYPE BEATS AND FEAT LIL JOHN JAY-Z OR PHAREL ON YA CD.

YOU CATS ARE A JOKE. STAY TRUE TO YA SELF. IF YOU WANNA WATER DOWN THE GAME PLESE RIP OUT YA TOUNGE NOW SO I WONT HAVE TO EVER TAKE THE CHANCE OF YOU DOING IT.

DID PAC DO IT LIKE 40 TRYING TO DO IT, OR LIKE EVERY ONE ELSE IS TRYING TO DO IT RIGHT NOW? NA PAC CAME LIKE PAC. PAC SPIT WHAT HE WAS FEELIN AND THAT WAS IT.

NOW IF THE NEW TREND NEXT YEAR IS RAPPIN ABOUT CAREBEARS. ARE YALL GONNA HYPE THAT THE SAME WAY TALKIN BOUT WHICH ONES YA FAVORITE AND WHICH RAPER DESCRIBED HIM BEST IN A TRACK, OVER A FRUITY SOUNDING BEAT.

YALL CHANGE WITH THE MUSIC AND THE FEMALES. ILL ALWAYS FEEL WHAT I FEEL, NOT JUST TURN ON THE RADIO AND LOVE IT.

STICKY THAT COMENT BOUT THE KEAK THE SNEAK TRACK IS DEAD ON. MOST CATS KNOCK ONE TRACK AND GO I LOVE KEAK DA SNEAK, THEN SLIP IN SOME JAY-Z

AND KNOW JAY-Z DIDNT COME TIGHT ON FRONTIN. IF ANYONE SPITS WITH PHAREL ON A HOOK, THEY LOSSE ALL CREDIBILITY AS NOT ONLY AN ARTIST, BUT AS A PERSON.
