i see what you mean but bob really is the god of reggae. if someone asks me what reggae artists i like ill mention gregory isaacs, eek a mouse, peter tosh, yellowman etc. and not even mention bob cause its not necessary. hes the king. he is trendy and has become that reggae singer who smoked pot and whos cool to listen to, but most ppl are stupid, and you cant let that take away from his greatness.

ill question reggae knowledge based on what bob cd people bring up. if they say they like legend, theyre suspect. but then again, im not gonna hate on them cause as long as his music is being played its cool. different people just appreciate his music on different levels
