i want to keep both, but ayo is right, curry and ellis are too small to ever be a good defense. i want to keep ellis, out of the two, but point guards are a commodity and curry is a good one. so curry would make better sense to keep.

biedrins needs to go. nothing against the guy. maybe d lee too, but iono. he puts up decent numbers. can't wait to see what goes down.

that TSSSS HAAA on the thread title cracks me up every time i see it.

curry or ellis? i would say curry for the reason the brehgoon stated, ellis is raw, one of my favorite players in the league, but from a defensive view, i'd feel better with curry than ellis

The Hornets have been "strongly engaged" in talks with the Clippers, Warriors and Celtics in regards to trading Chris Paul on Tuesday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

i think Ellis has better defense than Curry. did you forget Ellis shut down Kobe, Granger, Brandon Roy last season? Curry always get's into foul trouble when he tries too hard on defense and is forced to get his playing time cut.

but i'd rather have Curry over Chris Paul though. they say Curry/Ellis backcourt is too small then what about Paul/Ellis? if anything, they should just concentrate on getting a legit center. they don't need to fix the point guard spot.

In order to lure Chris Paul into the bay for a long time we need to trade Ellis for Rudy Gay and see if we can get O.J. Mayo in that deal also to come off the bench or perhaps start at the 2 if Klay Thompson is not ready....We would also need to sign Tyson Chandler for his defensive play..I heard if we can sign chandler that would Paul would really like to come here....Then if we get Rudy Gay for Ellis it should be a done deal....

^^^if the Warriors trade Curry for Paul i think it's best they keep Monta on the team. Dwight Howard said Chris Paul and Monta Ellis are 2 of his favorite players. can you imagine what this starting lineup would do...???

1) Chris Paul
2) Monta Ellis
3) Dorell Wright
4) David Lee
5) Dwight Howard

Paul has indicated Clippers and Warriors could raise chances of keeping him long-term if they sign center Tyson Chandler too, sources say.

y'all really want Chris Paul? Stephen Curry can put up similar numbers and is waayyyy cheaper. I just can't see the Warriors paying for both Chris Paul AND Tyson Chandler. Monta Ellis and David Lee is already making hella money

plus if they trade Curry, Thompson, Udoh...who's gonna be the backup players? there's gonna be a lot of back-to-back games and the Warriors are gonna need a healthy bench.

CP3 in his prime > Curry in his prime
how do you know this? Curry hasn't even hit his prime yet.

what IF we do get Chris Paul and he gets injured in the middle of the season? the Warriors won't have enough money to sign another point guard and would most likely have to pull somebody from the d-league again.

Edit: even if he did sign an extension with the Warriors and say the Warriors don't do good as he expected. i bet he would demand a trade to New York or another team..then what?
