the mvp of this series so far is david blatt for his amazing defensive schemes, straight shutting the warriors down

and kerr is proving to be the only true rookie coach in this series...i knew that keeping an all-star/all-nba caliber player like david lee out of the rotation would come back to haunt them. he's the best post player on the team and his play down low sucks the defense in, which in turn opens the the perimeter up for curry/thompson. the fact that kerr kept him out the rotation this long is retarded.

We cant start Barnes, missing open shot after open shot...Also have a quick hook on Bogut i havent seen him get man handled like that for a while, he just cant handle there bigs.
Kerr has to make adjustments in the rotation at the very least. He should be starting Iggy, and putting DLee in the mix more to get open looks

GS will be lucky if they even see a game 6, with the exception of OT in game 1 they have been dominated every quarter of every game so far, the series realistically should be 3-0 CLE. Clevelands defensive scheme and pressure has steph and the GS offense lookin like a deer in the headlights. GS hadnt been held to less than 60 points thru 3 qtrs all season, and CLE has done that the last 2 games....

Lebron is dictating the pace of the game by walking the ball up the court and then either taking it to the rim and scoring or kicking it out to Delly or JR. As simple a strategy as that is, GS still cant stop it. Iggy and HB cant guard Lebron, and it really showed last night. I dont see anything changing in game 4 or 5, GS has no answer for CLE's relentless defense, and they cant stop CLE's offense. This series will probably be over in 5, GS would have to get hella lucky to even see a game 6

What games have you been watching jmacc? We've been watching the NBA finals where 2 games were in overtime and the third had the game come within 1 point with a couple minutes to go in the 4th. Where is this "dominating every quarter" coming from? The only game that could even be considered dominating would be game 3 since they held the lead and even brought it up to 20+....although since the Warriors brought it within one point there was clearly a time where the cavs were not dominate in the game.

The final score isnt always an accurate indication of what transpired throughout a game, we all know that. But through 12 quarters so far, CLE has led at the end of every single quarter, I would call that dominating.

Putting the scores to the side for a minute, you asked me what Ive been watching, Ive watched GS's offense become discombobulated and inept thanks to CLE's smothering defense. If CLE had any decent offense whatsoever, CLE would be up 3-0 with 3 straight blowouts. The cavs go through incredibly dry scoring spells allowing GS to climb back in or keep it close, if CLE had the offensive firepower that GS has, all 3 games would not even have been close.

Yup and they also have 6 more turnovers throughout the 3 games. Like I said, final score isnt always an indication of what happened in a game. The cavs dominated the first 3 qtrs last night, then steph finally hit a few 3's in the 4th to make it a close game at the end.

Im not talking shit im just stating facts....when you're the highest scoring team in the league the whole season and you have the MVP but cant even score 60 points through 3 qtrs in 2 games straight, the other teams defense is dominating you plain and simple

GS outscored CLE 29 to 22 in the 2nd qurter of game 1
GS outscored CLE 25 to 22 in the 3rd quarter of game 1
GS outscored CLE 10 to 2 in overtime of game 1 (tied the 4th quarter, CLE outscored GS in the first quarter)
GS outscored CLE 28 to 25 in the 4th quarter of game 2 (tied first, CLE scored 2 more points in the 2nd, 1 more point in the 3rd)
GS outscored CLE 36 to 24 in the 4th quarter of game 3 (all other quarters CLE outscored GS)

if if was a fifth we'd all be drunk. the cavs going through "incredibly dry scoring spells" is called the playing against the team with the highest rated defensive efficiency in the league. both teams are playing good defense right now, and both teams can score more points. Golden State was 2nd in offensive efficiency and Cleveland was 4th. If Cleveland isn't playing to their potential imagine what Golden State should be doing.

obviously the warriors were dominated for the first 3 quarters of game 3, but thats the only game that they were outscored like that. you're tripping thinking that just cuz they won they dominated every single quarter they played, even if they lost a game.....that way of thinking is just absurd....but its obvious you're just trolling the thread.

and anyways you're making yourself look stupid, please go to the NBA thread and quit trolling the GS Warriors thread. Your terrible troll job is failing.

LMAO @ GS's defense having anything to do with CLE not hitting wide open shots and Lebron missing layups after he beats his defender off the dribble. CLE has had open shots constantly, they havent made enough of them to pull away and turn it into a blowout(except in the 3rd qtr last night), GS has barely had any open looks and thats because of stifling defense by delly and shumpert

And like I said, at the end of every qtr so far in the series, CLE has been ahead in the game. The only time GS's offense shows any kind of life is when they're down by double digits and steph and klay start jacking up 3's and of course with those 2 being the quality shooters they are, some of those shots are gonna start falling
