why don't they put up suicide barriers(walls).. it's like someone jumps every 2 weeks... and no one gives a fuck.. does san fran want people to jump off the bridge 'cause it's easier clean up then some random skyscraper.

I own this documentary. Weird because I watched it 2 nights ago. Apparently in this documentary, a jump happened every 15 days. I think the craziest section of this documentary, besides the footage of the jumps, was Kevin Hines. His story is incredible, it's so insane.

It's also noted that every 15 days, someone attempts to jump on the GGB. I'm not sure if it's ALWAYS consistent, but I know that in this documentary, in 2004, there was an average of about 2 jumps per month, with a few months have 3 jumps, and a few having only one, but most months out of the year of 2004 had 2 jumps.

Next time I walk across the Golden Gate I'm going to take a much closer look at the people I pass.

Crazy.
