im going to get a sony vaio laptop cuz they have a special where you dont pay interest for a year... and i could pay that chit off with financial aid in no time.... but here are the specs just want to know what you guys think....

vaio's are hella nice, but yeah i dunno how you can afford that w/ financial aid lol.

you mean the stuff you gotta pay back? cause i only got a certain amount n that STILL didn't cover my both my semesters anyways.

i got a dell inspiron for less than 500 n its prefectly fine as a school laptop.(and it came w/ xp) but that was also last year.

financial aid covers all my school and i get back around 2 grand extra for myself plus a stafford loan but i havent accepted any yet....

Don't get me wrong, there ARE cats on here that know their shit...But there are also utter morons that will give you nonsense. On the interweb there are sites and forums SOLELY dedicated to shit like this though so I would just use teh google

yea i know, and i know alot of pc stuff but alot of ppl here know more than i do, i just wanted their opinion... it is the open forum, ill weed out what i think is BS

I think they have yet to perfect SSD'd, obviously from that article. The $=GB ratio is fuckin AWFUL on those though.

Ona side not, have you fuced with those new WD VelociRaptors? Im waiting for the smaller version, as the 300GB one is going for $300. I need something a 1/4 of that size.
