i totally agree with what bane and mo said on the issue while i dont rap or produce i have been doin videos since u was 14, i really didn't catch anything close to a break till i was about 18 and that was cuz i pounded down doors and worked harder then my competitors, most importantly I networked my ass off. Now that im 21 and about to add to my film degree with a bachelors in business I look at the music and entertainment game in a whole new light, theres fifty million rappers out there but i would say a very small percentage of them have any grasp on the business end of it. How many record labels take the time and money too trademark their logos and names, which is extremely important on the legal side. Also i believe the Northwest will have a better chance of blowin up if we get more positive things happening, with shows which sonny bonoho, UA and jus family are doin as well as just comin together as a scene and workin together rather then always competing. The south was in many ways able to blow up due to its being so unified and artists down there supporting eachother. Althougfh i am living on the other side of the united states i still and always will rep the northwest and especially seattle.

I feel you mayn I'm in school myself trying to get my bachelors in business/marketing @ Clark Atlanta University...........and being on the whole otherside of the country you see the market and sound of music is completely different.....everybody in the south raps.....or does beats.....and everything pretty much sounds the same...also compared to the south in the NW the game is wide open...like a track stars pussy hole, feel me........but as Northwest artist,Ceo's,producers, promoters anything associated with this game have to get our priorities straight.......whether it's to do it for regional pride or pride for self.......if it's regional pride then the soulution is simple; come together like flys to dookie........if it's self pride, then whomever will just do they boss thang bytheyself.......I mean the game is cake walk, its a full time hustle..........100
