damn, why are shows becoming so expensive...$30???

I was actually having a conversation with someone about this the other day....we only came up with a few artist (none in this timeframe) that we actually believed would be completely worth the money to see.....but we were saying like Wu-Tang w/ ODB, Dre & Snoop during the Chronic Era, Redman in 99' etc...


not hating Chrymes do your thing, I know it cost money...just saying these artist charge too much...

I got a call from a talent seller to bring out the Beatnuts and they wanted 5g's..like 4 plane tickets and 4 hotel rooms...and the rider was outrageous too...something like 10 subway footlongs, a bottle of patron, jack daniels and a whole bunch of other shit....told them I would only pay that if they brought Pun back from the dead to perform "Off the Books"...

working the door with an artist is a good way to go about it....best way in my opinion...

Underground shows should be $10 max in my opinion.

....and local showcases should be free of charge...everyone can agree with that I think.

just tell the venue to wave the fee...cause you are bringing them business...and not charging cover.
