gimmiks can help artists get noticed and can start trends....its all about being muti dimensional..if u depend too much on one thing then thats when it hurts u as an artist..all the hyphy gimick shit is puttin the bay back on the map..hopefully we wont play it out like the south does with its crunk shit tho
