Georgia (country not the state) provokes Russia to the point of War

The real question is how many Russian's know about this conflict? According to the state controlled Russian media (much akin to the US corporate controlled media, Georgia is the extreme agressor and Russia is only acting as a peace keeping force. (now I'm not saying Georgia didn't start it, b/c from what i can decipher they did). But, the avg. russian citizen has no idea about the level Russia brought things too (kinda like how your avg. chinese citizen has no idea about the tianimen square riots)
