thats what im sayin tho breh. black people been in these United States for a minute. not sayin they came here under the best circumstances, but they been here for a long ass time. every single "latino" group nowadays aint been here for more than a handfull of generations. guarantee at least 50% of siccness mexican 80's babies (including me) got grand parents or great grand parents who were born in (what is now) mexico. just like a lot of filipinos dont like the ilocano filipinos, for what ever reason. they bring that mentality to the states and its perfectly acceptable to damn near every filipino, at least the pinoys here in california. the mentaility drips down to the next generation who may be actually born in the US.
the mexican is more hated in this country than the black man, imo.
i understand you as a black man getting caught off guard with GZ not liking mexicans. but honestly it isnt nothing new or shocking and it is pretty acceptable to brown people. the only thing "latino" countires have in common is that the spanish took over all the lands, giving us spanish and our last names. its pretty much the same commonality "latinos" have with philipinos. except they got the china eyes.

I'm not a Zimmerman supporter as you say, that was all I had heard. Even if Zimmerman was on top at some point, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it determined that Martin was shot by Zimmerman while Martin was on top of him?

I'm honestly more bothered by the Casey Anthony story than this damn story by a long shot.
And sad to say, but if this country forgot about Emmitt Till, they will damn sure forget about Trayvon Martin. My point being, if it takes this sort of thing to get people riled up, they're playing behind the 8 ball. This generation has no balls, no motivation. There seem to be no Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., or Cesar Chavez's in this generation. Instead we got people with balls and misdirection. Dorner, the nutjob that shot up the school in CT, Virginia Tech shooter, the Batman movie shooter etc... Balls enough to do it, but ultimately pussy

I dont believe it reached the national attention that the zimmerman trial recieved and isnt it only being played in select bay area theatres? Thats a clear cut reason to turn BART upside down

I'm only referring to the FACT that they were two different ethnic backgrounds is all. I am also pointing out why the case was big..you can even throw out race and it would still get some attention based on the story alone..Do I believe George saw that Trayvon was black and used that to help him come to conclusion as to his character? He did say "they always get away"...who? guys with hoodies? black thugs? general criminals? I'm open as to knowing who he was referring to..
I am not saying he is a racist..I am saying that Trayvon being black, with a hoodie on, fitting whatever description of alleged "troublemakers" in that area factored in his decision to judge him and follow him....

I don't kno the law, but I'm pretty confident at ANY time u have "control" u forfeit ur right to SELF DEFENSE. Stand ur ground is dif tho. U dont have to retreat. I'm basing this just on common sense tho (self defense part). I mean, if I have the opportunity to walk away wouldn't that forfeit self defense? Couldn't u use that argument in court as a prosecutor? The defendant was on top, he was in control, he was in the offense at that time. I don't kno.
So Trayvon looked like a criminal? How does one look like a criminal? Are hoodies now only associated with criminals?
