What's puzzling to me is GGG was eating shots and walking through them like he was the Terminator. It's like when niggas on Dragon Ball do a super move but when the dust clears the villain is standing their smiling. So if he is walking through shots, why not let your hands go when he is in the ropes? Because you don't want to get countered? NIGGA YOU JUST ATE THREE CLEAN SHOTS TO YOUR CHIN.
And that's why I wouldn't argue with someone who picked Canelo to win. There was a clip early in the fight where GGG had Canelo on the ropes, pivoted towards Canelo's right, and landed a clean uppercut. On the ropes, he could have clearly outboxed Canelo, but he couldn't. He stuck with the jab. Why? 2-0-Sixx explained why. Because he didn't want to get countered. And in the middle of the ring, who won the fight? Canelo. He out worked GGG on the inside and compubox numbers prove that. But like I said, Canelo gave up 2 rounds where he didn't do shit and in a close fight that's a no-no.

What are you talking about? In this thread what was I saying? That's it's a 50/50 fight. That Canelo is peaking right now and Golovkin at 35 could have possibly lost a step. I wasn't saying GGG would go in their and whoop his ass, I was expecting a very even fight. I wasn't expecting a one sided fight like what we got, I was surprised in fact that Golovkin [should have] won so clearly.

Canelo and Golovkin have good fucking chin. Isn't that obvious? Golovkin walked through Canelo's biggest punches while Canelo seemed much more bothered by Golovkin's shots imo (which is why he would retreat so frequently and trying to keep GGG off).

He landed a ton of those "slow ass jabs" so what does that say about Canelo then?

We all knew going into it Canelo was the faster fighter, that was the one thing Canelo had an advantage on.

Why do you think Canelo gassed? Why was he gassed for the entire second half? Because Golovkin FORCED him to fight at a pace that Canelo didn't want, i.e Ring Generalship.

Again with the "cutting off the ring". He didn't have yo cutt off the ring when Canelo would only backpedal straight into the ropes. Golovkin was on him like glue for most of the fight. He couldn't do anything to slow Golovkin down.

Again I don't know what fight 206 was watching. So you’re telling me that a guy walking forward and eating 42% of Canelo power punches was controlling the fight?? So GGG is a ring general but he only landed 30% of his slow weak ass weak jab, wow he sure schooled Canelo missing 70% of his jabs and landing no power punches. When did boxing start giving you rounds for blocking the clean power shots with your face?? Again what fight was you people watching?

1. Canelo landed all the clean hard punches in fight.
2. Canelo made GGG miss 70% of his punches.
3. Canelo landed 42% of his power punches.
4. Canelo was hurting GGG to the body all through the fight and GGG never hurt Canelo.
5. So now walking forward and eating 42% of power punches while missing 70% of your punches = Ring generalship
6. Why is no one talking about how GGG was clearly bigger then Canelo in the ring but but GGG is a small middleweight and Jacobs was 180lb, but yet GGG was about 175lb-180lb fight night.
7. I thought clean effective punching won boxing matches? And Canelo was doing all the clean hard punching, but then again GGG did hit the AIR 70% of the time so I guess you gave him credit for that.

What’s funny is by Saturday a lot of people and HBO will change their mind about the fight anyway after the replay. Lampley and his cheerleading of GGG getting hit with power shots all fight acting like taking a good punch somehow scores you points in boxing matches nowadays too funny. The rematch will be an easier fight for Canelo less moving around the ring, more body work, and more inside fighting for Canelo.

I agree with the facts you stated, but my argument is that Canelo gave up 2 rounds in a tough, close fight. When that happens, all of Canelo's hard work gets overshadowed along with the rounds GGG clearly won. GGG literally ran to Canelo. Him and Abel Sanchez were desperate to not allow the decision to go to the scorecards, but it did. That will win the decision of the fans all day. Even mines! Look, I wanted Canelo to win, and after seeing this fight he can easily beat GGG in a rematch but he rested too much when he shouldn't have.

Robbery of the century lol. GGG played the role of Ivan Drago. Even had casual fans I was watching with going crazy on how he was walking Redhead down every minute and walking through his shots! While I scored it 7-5 for GGG which means it was a close and good fight, but it was clear GGG won and this was a huge robbery and black eye for the sport! I gave Canelo rounds 2,3,5,6, & 12. Also rounds 5 & 6 were very close and couldve gone either way. Canelo tried to wait until GGG was a little older and vulnerable and couldnt believe he was in the ring with the T-1000 lol. I never seen canelo run and back pedal so much haha. I dont wanna hear shit about Mayweather running when he actually stays in the pocket. Running is what Canelo did all night lol. GGG is a savage! Now we need the huge mega fight between GGG & Ward. The two best in the world until Spence takes over. I think ward is the only dude that can beat GGG. We dont need a rematch cause the winner was clear. Also Canelo dont want a rematch lol. Got Em!!

GGG vs the wbo champ next i forgot his name.fuck canelo let him fight victor ortiz, sergio martinez or kirland rematch next lol we all know who won saturday
If it is true GGG is fighting in December, then he's gonna fight BJS.

As far as Canelo, he's gonna fight Lemieux or BJS. Then in September he will fight GGG again.

They won't fight in May if GGG fights in December and a) it's not a ppv and b) ratings barely reach over a milli on HBO. It's gonna fuck up the money K2 want for GGG.

Because I can't argue with someone saying Canelo won, either. A friend told me all GGG did was cut the ring with his jab. He then asked me, "what else did he do?" and compustats do support that. But I felt that in this close fight, Canelo gave up 2 middle rounds to rest, GGG gave none. The fight was too close to be doing that. The decision is correct because I'm not gonna argue to why Canelo won when he did more than just jab a million times over.
Again, YOU said "IMO, GGG won the fight." So if he won the fight how is it the correct decision?

Look at the bold. Why in the hell are you afraid to get countered on the ropes when you are walking through his shots? For example, GGG got hit with a BIG uppercut and just looked. He didn't grimmace or anything. His head and neck shook, he instantly shrugged it off. So why be concerned about countering if you are walking the man down and he isn't hurting you when he goes up top?

Listen, Ward vs GGG is a mismatch. Ward wins, there is no competition there. As far as him being the only guy, well, if Floyd is retired then yeah, he is the only guy but if Floyd isn't retired then I have Floyd outboxing him and the fight being 8-4 at the end of the night. Shit I even have Floyd to beat Ward.

I'm on record right now, Floyd MONEY Mayweather = TBE.

Awe you mad bro?? LMAO! Your hero got his ass beat by GGG and his camp hired a corrupt judge to make it a draw and the world knows GGG won lol. Your butthurt because Canelo isnt as good as you thought lol. Floyd spanked that ass and now GGG spanked that ass! Canelo is the most coward mexican fighter I ever seen, running like a little bitch! Thats why his hair is red LMAO!!! Got Em!!

Exactly. It's my opinion. There is a shitload of people who feel Canelo won. HBO had GGG winning, yet their punching stat showed GGG pretty much landed strictly jabs. If you show me just the stats it makes it very close.

It's like Floyd vs Maidana 1, for example. I thought Maidana won by just one round. A judge had the fight a draw. The stats for that fight prove it was an even fight, not a landslide.

Now, a lot of people, including myself, had Jacobs beating GGG. But the judges had GGG winning by just a round or 2. What fucked it up about this decision with Canelo vs GGG is the 118-110 score. That's what makes it look like it was all wrong. but the decision is correct because the opinion of 1 doesn't win the fight. it'll take 2 others or so. If her score was Canelo by 1 round no one would be screaming robbery.

Whether or not they are hurting GGG, it will allow Canelo to "score" more power punches that can persuade the judges to give the rounds to Canelo. And that's why I say in a rematch Canelo wins easily. If he doesn't throw a monster counter, that's fine. Get your combos in and get out. Enough punches will get thrown that Canelo can actually stop GGG in a rematch.

You're fucking stupid. Canelo already has a loss on his record. He's just trying to give the fans what they want and for him win these fights. Now that he has this draw on his record, you can look at his resume and we can argue, who has the better resume, Canelo or Floyd? Canelo is hella young and these big fights win, lose or draw, will get him so much money. The next fighter people will want to see is a Charlo brother, a Jacobs, a Lemieux, etc. His resume will be insane. So no. I'm not butthurt because my opinion is just one. It's ultimately a draw on his record and it's not that arguable. He's gonna have to avenge it and that's that.
