this was pretty awesome, and i like how they insert the fact that many of these marines thought this was 'the last of the war'.

I'm surprised this doesn't get more hype.

At first I wondered that as well but it all makes sense:

This shit was more realistic. People weren't getting killed every 3 minutes. Plus, it focused on the initial invasion of Iraq so it was while we were still considered "heroes" and there was alot less violence (as far as combat).

Who cares tho....The show was FANTASTIC

I have to give it up to HBO for those 7 eps but seriously, I felt hella lead on throughout each ep. It was like u expect some mainey ass shit to jump off by the way they direct it. But then not shit happens and your pissed off. All in all I loved the show but they could have put a liiiiiittle more action into it. Anyone got any info on when Dexter season 3 or Entourages new season starts??

Realism is better than adding fake action, this aint no Micheal Bay film, this shit seems hella like a documentary its so realistic. That phsyco kid who shot that camel and killed that kid was nutz lol talking about his pops stuck his hand inside a dogs mouth and ripped its heart out. That foo couldn't wait to get a shot off and when he killed that iraqi he was all wet lol. When they went into the first town that guy in the gunner seat in the humvee was shitting his pants when they went in that started getting shot at. Then when they came out of there everybody was all laughing and excited except for the guy in the gunner seat cuz that mothafucka chopped everyone up and if he didn't do it right he would of been dead.

Crazy shit they didnt want to send in the tanks with the humvees for some reason or the artillery in, they just wanted to use the recon as bait or somethin.

What about that dumbass foo in charge grabbing an ak47 and shooting that shit for no fuckin reason, how in the fuck was that foo in charge of people.
