ummm...a little thing called fun
as long as i am havin fun the game has pretty much served its purpose right?
what do you get out of being ranked? do you get some kind of reward? am i missing something?
from my experience all the people who play ranked matches are too serious and complain about everything. this is all i hear on ranked matches "BULLSHIT!! fuck that,i shot him 987987 times and he didnt die!" or you get the eliteist types who think they know everything "damn,you suck,you should of done the barrel roll then used the shotgun dumbass"
i used to be like you with games like socom back in the day though.play for 5 hours a night just to keep my rank up.then i grew up and got a life and realized video games arent something to make a priority in life

LOL!... damn homie, you just put a whole lot of words in my mouth. player matches got people doin the same shit, and yea actually you do get rewards for playin ranked... there called achievements. an to think im not grown simply on the basis of me playin ranked matches is absurd... take your head outta your ass
Well, in reality, you can still find friends on ranked matches, and I'm thinking 15 rounds isn't that common, so it wouldn't be too hard to find...
BlackChild2007, you invited me last night to a game, and there was no spot on your team, so I got stuck with a bunch of people who weren't all that great, I tried to hold my own, but got a phone call from my girl in pittsburgh, and had to cut out. You guys were talking mad shit the whole game though, trying to figure out if I just got there late, or you were looking for someone else to play against...
