For the most part, I personally don't mind going from a console online fps to a computer or vice versa. As kingsix said fan man mods or even slight adjustments to the gameplay mechanics can make fps or any other genre a blast.
anything but shooters on console, from playing games like quake and UT, it just feels bad aiming with a controller. Non PC gamers it's easy because that's where they played their first shooter, on console.

I don't own a gaming pc but playing Unreal Tournament years ago online ruined the FPS experience for me. The controls are awful for any console FPS game after playing on pc
that UT mod community was sick, it was times like that no matter what you were doing you would always log every day for a bit to play on the server with the regulars. The thing is too, back then most PC gamers were older because little 12 yo xbox brats couldn't afford it, so you'd get a good experience.

However, the shitstains are spread now on console and pc, you can't avoid it but atleast on PC you have dedicated servers and fucktard get banned for life.

nah mate, I'm talking about gettiing into PC gaming.

If you are on a tight budget, then forget about it. But if you can spare about $750, you should look into it. There are a couple of people like myself who can help you with parts and installation, you can do it all yourself and save money.
I'll definitely keep that in mind if our money ever gets right. I know next-gen is right around the corner, and I've had thoughts about getting into PC gaming, so maybe I could build a gaming PC instead of getting the new consoles.

You can do it on a budget for sure, but my advice would be to go with some mates to a LAN place near where you live and try out some games together, cost you a couple of dollars or w/e but you will get a good feel of it.

even RTS games you might like, there would be starcraft/warcraft 3 at LAN places for sure. Even counter strike or other FPS depending on how the place is set up.
