i think there was to many appearences by wack rappers. he didn't even mention The MAC, or do any tribute song to him. if you gonna do a cd that takes the same cover and title of the cd of the person you dedicating the album to then you gotta mention him or have appearences by fools that actually knew The MAC. at least have some songs produced by khayree since thats the fool that produced the orignal Game Is Thick. only song i was feellin was that cutthroat soup, its the only song that has any connection to the orignal Game Is Thick cause it changes beats and dre changes his style, like The MAC did on the orignal.if your fortunate enough to hear the original Game Is Thick by The MAC then you will know why i was dissapointed with this album.still gonna love that mac dre though, cause them lyrics are the most creative and original in the rap game right now.
I dont have a problem wit dre releasing hella cds cuz id rather hear some new shit ever couple months then having to wait like a year to hear something new. I think Ronald Dregan, Genie of the Lamp, and Game is Thick 2 all slap so I aint trippin. Keep releasing them cds every couple months dre. YEEEEEEEEE!
Sure. And at least Thizz isn't doing like No Limit did after DA LAST DON in June '98, when P was putting out three-four CDs a MONTH. One CD of new material every few months is better than four (non-comp) CDs a month, IMHO.
As far as THE GAME IS THICK PT. 2, to me, it's a darker-sounding AL BOO BOO--a couple of songs could have been longer, but what's there is (like AL BOO BOO) at least fun, if not definitive, and that counts for something (yeah, I know--don't tell the backpack/"everything-in-music-has-to be-meaningful" crowd that, but hey). "Cutthoat Soup", "Get Loud", "Fedi's Theme", "Stool Pigeon", "Screw-E-Boo-Boo", "Hotta Den Steam" and "It Ain't Funny" are my favorites right now. Haven't watched the DVD yet, though.
DREGANOMICS and GENIE OF THE LAMP were (and are) better, but TGITP2 is cool and it's far from MD's "worst" (if you're wondering, I think his worst was probably the MAC DAMMIT MAN & FRIENDS comp). Like AL BOO BOO, it's solid, if not a barnburner. Just my opinion, though, and everyone has a right to their's, too. YEEEEEEEEEE!!!

As far as the Cutthoat Commitee, I'm not sure. PSD was on BART earlier this year; he said that you MIGHT see a CC CD before year's end, but he indicated (in so many words) not to expect miracles, because it's hard for MD, PSD and Dubee to all be in the same studio at once due to their conflicting schedules. And about the collab w/ Mac Mall--there was a thread about this a week or so ago--the story is that it SHOULD (knock on wood) be out in the first quarter of '05. Hope that holds true, because "Mack-A-Frama-Lama" (from Mall's last solo in 2002) showed that two still sound tight together...
