cut PORTER... he dont wanna be here anyways...

NO SIR. PORTER IS BACK ON DECK 100%. HE HAD PROBLEMS WITH ART SHELL LAST YEAR BUT YOU SEE HOW THAT ENDED UP. PORTER IS OUR BEST RECIEVER NEXT TO RONALD CURRY. HE'S GONNA HAVE A MONSTER SEASON. BET!

I'VE ALWAYS LIKED DOUG GABRIEL BUT I CAN'T BLAME OAKLAND FOR CUTTING HIM. HE IS TOO INCONSISTANT AND HAS A PROBLEM DROPPING BALLS. MOST OF ALL, WE DON'T NEED HIM ANY LONGER. HE'S HAD SOME VERY GOOD GAMES AND HE'S GOOD FOR THE OCCASIONAL SPECTACULAR LOOKING PLAY, DEEP ALONG THE SIDELINES BUT NOT MUCH ELSE.

WE HAVE A SCRAPPY AND SOLID WR CORE. PORTER, CURRY, TAYLOR. WILLIAMS AND HIGGINS GOT IT LOCKED.

THANK G-D WE GOT RID OF RANDY.

^^^Porter's def on board now. He had problems with Shell and he didn't like being Moss because everyone was jockin him and Porter thought he was better. Now that Moss is gone he thinks he's on top.

How can anyone say that Porter is the number 2 reciever?

LOL...

He's the BESTS WR Oakland has. Period.

Oh yeah...Doug > Alvis...

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU WERE REFERRING TO MY POST HERE BUT I DIDN'T MEAN TO IMPLY THAT CURRY WAS BETTER THAN PORTER. ALLTHOUGH I'M NOT SURE PORTER REALLY HAS AN EDGE ON CURRY. THEY'RE ABOUT EQUAL IN MY EYES. WE WILL SEE WHICH ONE OUT OF TWO HAS THE BEST SEASON. CURRY IS MORE OF A WEAPON ON 3RD DOWN.

I never saw DG as a superior WR. Sure he helped out the team when we needed it the most but Ive always seen him as a journeyman wr. We gotta build our team with our good wrs and start building up our new rookies to follow up. I like Higgins we did good picking him up. Obvious he has the speed for them long yardage plays and Williams is gonna be a major threat when we in the red zone. Cutting Gabriel wasnt the best decision made thus far, but we gotta keep those that are willing to excel on this team and terminate those that dont want to commit to the team. When is the raiders last day to cut players?

yup all WR's are solid...i think this might be a break out year for Curry he has all the tools, since all the attention will go to Porter, but it all depends on the O-line and whoever is the RB...i think the final day is Saturday
