I am not comparing G-Macc to Lynch. I was just saying that G-Macc brings the Siccness. Lynch went a different way with LBI, and G-Macc continues the way Lynch was goin before. Not sayin he spits better...

I still think that Lynch got some crazy shit in the works and wil surprise alotta peeps with DAAM. Well, I sure hope so, cause he still my fav rapper. But if he fails with his new album, then it is pretty much over for Madesicc imo.

^^ which g-macc style does p-folks do better lol? i personally don't like g-macc's slowed down flow at the moment compared to what he had some years ago when he would usually spit fast. it's still something worth listening to though imo.

well, now, if it was who is your favorite rapper nominee, then i'm pretty sure none of us would choose g-macc, but what g-macc is doing here is the continuation of the dark stylistic raps/beats in his own unique way. like it was said in the thread already, not comparing the artists, but rather what he brings to the table. his production is still the best in sac right now. it's kinda sad to say, but it is the truth.

I got pretty much most the shit released between 92 and 2007 in Sacramento. From Awol, Blackmarket, Siccmade, Fahrenheit, to C-Way, Goodfella, West Coast Mafia, Black Armor, Bluerumm etc.

um....no

QFT

G-Macc's style alone is annoying.

Not to mention, on his album, EVERY song had a 1:00-2:00 intro before he even STARTED to rap....what kinda bullshit is that??? Truly annoying.

There are/were 101 Lynch "wannabes", G-Macc is one of em. Unfortunetly, there can be immitators but no one can capture the essecne that Lynch had back in the hayday's of the 90's in Nor Cal.
I think yur wrong, that nigga hella tight and if Lynch said he gonna pass Macc tha throne then Macc must be dooin something right. Lynch didn't say that about ANYBODY but Macc. Not T-nutty, not any other rapper. So I'm wit it.

Lynch can pass the torch to whoever but that don't make a niggaz skillz any better. Look @ the lack luster talent Lynch has sighned 2 his label. Lynch word don't mean shit. Fuck a torch.

those albums can't be put in the same genre imo. like i said, stylistically, there are not a whole lot of loaded albums, except for the sicx second solo. g-macc is simply doing what they have left behind in his own way. and as far as i'm concerned, he's the only one doing it. not dissing the other artists in sac, but twin evil, c-dubb's albums, and off da chain are not dark lol. the evil shit belongs now to g-macc, none other sadly. do i think it has to be dark in order to be good? nope, however the stuff that is being now largely produced in sac is not quality by any means. listen to that evil vs evil song by g-macc, tell me that isn't good?

by the way, how's your rapping, you signed a deal yet?

I'm listening to Graveyard Shift right now and G-Macc's tight. He's got good rhymes and whatnot, but he's pretty unoriginal in terms of his flow and word choice. If someone told me the only music he's ever listened to was Lynch, I wouldn't doubt it.

Still, not bad by any means, and I'd rather listen to this than just about any other rap I've heard lately. Just a little critique.

G-Macc is dark and methodical in his flow. What's not to love about that??? People that say T-Nutty is better are out there to me. I'm mean Nutty has some tight flows yeah. But his beats are usually trash. Macc has that creepy bartione voice that demands attention. Alot like Lynch does. When I hear Nutty his flow is really kinda hard to be taken seriouly. If he was flowing over dark beats then okay but the ones he usaully raps over are garbage. Not to start any fights or none of that just my opinion. And if I've learned anything on The Siccness is that people go to far lenghts to express them. No Hate I'm just doing the same here.
