j/k... but damn i thought jay sean was gonna be in for the bitches and those j cats in uk.. guess not. i think it has to do more with the way his cd was marketed than people not feelin him tho. i think hes a good sign either way.

but me personally i listen to damn near every kind and genre of music, my i-pod is crazy you couldnt put a face on it.. everything from j-stalin to airsupply. lol. so for the people that say fuck young money i think your attention span based on music may not stretch that far.. its all opinions tho, the same song someone hits the skip button on is the same song someone pushes the repeat button for.

maybe the marketing if not I think he one those artists thats just cant be fully accepted no matter what bc this is his 3rd major deal and album.

Wayne, Drake, Tyga, and da rest ah dem niggaz are all annoying as fuck and da music isnt 2 creative anymore. i stopped fuckin wit wayne afta carter 1 or should i say when mannie left. Wayne aint nowhere near da best rapper from new orleans or betta yet the 17th ward. u got lil slim, full blooded, fiend, and skip all from tha 17th who are all betta den wayne by far

It's awfully hard 2 be the best rapper out ya city when your city don't support ya. I heard them niggas Baby and Wayne are hidin in Miami 'cause niggas in N.O. gon' fuck 'em up when they see 'em.

Most everybody on YM can spit, it's just they were rapping gansta shit unsuccessfully for almost a decade before getting on this pop-ish music and blowing up. I can't blame any of 'em for it, and "Girls" & "Bedrock" were two of the best radio singles this year.

If it's not your kinda music, it is what it is, but Wayne, Drake, Jae Millz, and Tyga are all nice, and Gudda Gudda & Nicki Minaj come with decent verses (especially if Nicki would stop using that retarded flow).

By what standards? Fiend is the only one on that list who I could make an argument for. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Lil Slim and Skip, but they aren't on Wayne's level.

wrong you shouldnt go by what you "heard"

Wayne just did shows in his hometown the other week. Only reason tehy in miami si bc tehy have more then one crib and miami is one the best spots to live now

he actually rhymes/sings about things the average guy goes through being love,pain,money,betrayel (atleast in so far gone...) thats the appeal. Some of his music is abstract too and people want a change in direction with pop or rap music...thats why. I'd say he's pretty dope. Not to mention that damn Degrassi show helped him along with his promo work ha.
