Machida should have to fight someone just like everyone else. He was blown away, whether he looked liked himself or not is irrelevant. Machida should scrap in a contender style fight just like anyone else not named BJ Penn.

i didnt say instant rematch. i just said they need to fight again @ some point. & machida is fighting someone else.. i hope he gives rampage the same treatment he gave rashad.

i usually hate instant rematches, unless the fight ends with some kind of controversy (ie bad scoring, early stoppage, questionable cut stoppage)

Oh I agree then I would like to see Shogun/Machida III. People always go crazy for instant rematches so I figured that's what you meant. I don't see Rampage making it to decision against Machida, all he has is basic boxing skills and solid counters. He's not gonna be able to explode on Machida like Shogun did, I think Rampage loses bad here.

RAMPAGE WILL PROBABLY LOSE THAT FIGHT, BUT I HAVE A FEELING IT WONT BE THAT TERRIBLE. THE ONE ADVANTAGE RAMPAGE WILL HAVE IS KNOWING MORE ABOUT MACHIDA'S GAME AFTER SEEING HIM FIGHT MORE PEOPLE. THAT MIGHT FOCUS HIS TRAINING ON THE RIGHT THINGS


IF RAMPAGE CAN STAY CALM, PUT UP A DECENT FIGHT, AND NOT GET CLIPPED, THEN THE FIGHT COULD BE EVEN GOING INTO THE THIRD ROUND. And plus there's been numerous fights where we seen a clear cut winner in the first fight and still get rematches, tito n chucc, matt hughes and gsp, just off top...

Those were not immediate rematches,Tito,GSP,and Hughes worked their way back to a title shot.

ON ANOTHER NOTE:Machida/Shogun 1 was close,now their second fight was not.Finishes=no rematch,Close Decision=Possible rematch.DEPENDS ON THE ORG. AND THE PROMO OF HIGH MARKETABLE FIGHTERS
