SO SOME IRS GUY GOES TO YOUR JOB ASKING QUESTIONS (MOST LIKELY FOR YOU EMPLOYER NOT YOU) AND YOU THINK YOU WILL NOW GET AUDITED??? HIGHLY DOUBT IT!!
What did your boss say about it? I work in the finance dept and we see auditors all the time, just to make sure our records are straight with thiers and we are paying correct employees and what not. These auditors are completely 100% different than an auditor that woudl show up at your house to audit you personaly. Mostly it's to make sure we are SOX compliant as well as taking local or fed taxes from right ssn;s and employee names to help aganst fraud
but hey way to keep it gangster and possibly make yourself look bad in terms of you as an employee of your employer.
