i don't want to get in to a heated discussion or nuttin, but i do totally disagree. to me, how can man be God when i could take your life or you could take mine. no one can take God's life. shit homie,you'd be so suprised to see how lax it is for the coast guard. some places don't even have a 6 month fitness assessment. alot of people are over their weight limit. i think it may be because they are waiting to see where we are gonna be with this homeland defense shit and then they will crack down on it. for the people out there saving lives and shit, they are all over em about fitness and what not. i work out as much as i have time for and i just got a heavy bag and speed bag in the house for the winter months when i can't make it to the gym. i am an electronics technician so it is not necessary to be in top physical condition, and we don't really have inspections like that. there are so few et's man, it's rediculous, we just do our own thing. they don't even spend money for us to go to the range. i am qualified 9 milimeter so if funk did go down, they would pass me a strap but i wanna go for the m16. cg don't get shit for funds for getting qualled on m16 and stuff. i wanna shoot that shit. plus i only shot marksman with the nina cause it was like 30 degreez outside when we did it and they had the piece and the box of ammo sitting out for like 2 hours before we got there. all that shit was so cold i couldn't help but to shake. and i haven't ever had to do the gasmask shit either. that's why i am glad about the choice i made. people in other services knock us all day saying it ain't real military, but we do do alot of shit, whether it seems like it or not. sometimes it sucks balls but sometimes its cool. shitty about the leave thing. you ain't even gonna try and see the familia or nuthin over the holidays?????? i have been alone 2 holidays seasons in a row now, i was in the hospital for 3 days for a Nurgery to get rid of my appendix. that was shitty. but i am going home for 2 weeks over Christmas this year. i can't wait. i have heard that the japenese folks love some rap music, and lowriders and shit. if i ever get my feet of the ground, i am definately gonna put some shit over that way, and hawaii too. ahhhh, i don't know how to post pics, otherwise i would have some different shit in my sig, i tried but still can't figure it out, lol. oh well. eNeways homie, good luck with the music thang and shoot me sumthing if you get the chance. maybe we'll put it down one day. stay up homie, late

no shit, that sucks azz. nah, we don't do that. but then again we are a hell of alot less likely to get hit on our base. they only thing we have there is just a few pieces of security gear which the tele. specialists deal with when it comes to it. our base is really small. if i were at a different unit, we'd go through that, but nothing like you do. on a brighter note, i am definately on the list to advance to E-5 and it should only be a few months. i will be damn near ballin when i make it. will be making close to 2,800 to 2,900 a month after taxes. than again it is still really expensive here but i should have 10,000 dollars saved up by then. is it expensive there where you at?
yeah, we get cola too. i get bah which is 1118 a month, but when i make E5 it will go up to 1271. i get my 2 year pay raise november 14th. we get the jan. raise of like 4.5 percent. that's why between all that i am gonna get like 300 to 400 more a month before taxes. i make 1264 a check now, so you now i am about to be ballin, lol.
