Come on, dude, you and I know that isn't realistic.....A playoff is the only way to fix college football, but who knows if that will ever happen......

i know, i was just making a point, but you are right, we need an 8 team playoff with the top 8 teams only. no more 21st ranked teams getting in one of the top bowls. just wait until an unraked team makes a top bowl. i'm surprised we dont see that often

I FEEL YOU ON THAT NOTION. we should at least have the have the top 4 teams in a playoff system to determine an undisputed champion. but let's face it, the world is corrupted by MONEY, and schools wouldn't make as much money. the bcs is a flawed system that will continue to screw teams, this years recipients are auburn and cal. another good point is having the undefeated teams playing each other, i still don't see how boise st. was not ranked higher. strength of schedule is bullshit.

i am happy for my fresno st. bulldogs though, we finally are playing a rank team in a bowl game. a much similar team as it should be.

I think Cal will beat Texas Tech but Tech by no means is an easy team to play, they run an offense that is very different and hard to defend unless you have the proper personel. should be a fun game to watch though i think. but still would be upset if I was cal for drawing such a low ranked team

i think cal is better then what they showed tonight....i think they were probably unmotivated to play in that weak ass bowl game...just like texas was last year when they had to play washington states whack ass....tech is a hard team to play but is easily beatable if you play them right

just got back from the holiday bowl, i got to say maybe the bcs got it right. cal didnt look too good. @ grim, dont you think cal wouldve been way motivated to show the world they got robbed? maybe they just arent that great. dont get me wrong though, they are a very solid team. i was just disappointed by there performance tonight

the problem with bowl games is there is so much time in between the last game bowl games, the teams are out of sync and anyone can win. thats why it is often a surprise blowout. this by no means tells us that texas tech or texas for that matter is better then CAL. but they lost, so they fucked themselves

even if they would of destroyed Tech...that wouldnt of proven anything to the world....tech isnt all that good so beating them by alot would just be like beating another 21st ranked team

Bam was right. But only because Cal never bothered to even show up and play their game againgst TT. Texas Tech's system and their QB's are way too lethal to sleep on. Their passing game will destroy you in a heartbeat if you don't show up and play. Cal laid an egg on this one.

I also have to say as a supporter of a team that has benefitted from the BCS system, the BCS is still BULLSHIT. There needs to be a playoff and people should be shot if there isn't one in the next 2 years.
