If we truly wanna take the copout route it can go both ways. So we played a few more garbage teams, great. But we had a piece of shit coach for half the season and we looked like a very respectable team once we got rid of him. So let's do it like this: If the Niners had Mike Singletary the whole year, we'd probably have a few more wins.

Niners are going to be fucked if they let Mike Martz go. He should be given most of the credit for the 49ers improving.

Singletary should be given credit for the 49ers improving. He forced Mike Martz to change his gameplans and if it were up to Martz we would have had that turnover machine JTO losing games for us throughout the entire season. He also got the defense on track.

All I'm gonna say is the raiders wouldn't be guaranteed a victory over the Rams or Seahawks. Detroit would be the only game I'd say is a gimme for the raiders. Rams are a bad team but they beat the Cowboys so they are capable of beating teams. The Seahawks were bad but the raiders weren't much better, so who's to say the raiders would have won those games? Let's not forget you guys lost to KC, so you wouldn't be guaranteed any wins against those teams, even if you played them twice.

I'll agree with that. But we both know if the situation were reversed a lot of raider fans would be shoving it in our face as well. That's the way people are. I personally feel the Niners, under MIKE SINGLETARY, are a better team than the raiders. Under Nolan we were no better than Oakland.

both teams fired there coaches during the season and at this point thats really all that needs to be said. Its been the same amount of years since both teams been to the playoffs and thats really all that matters.
