Not everyone in the East hates the bay/west coast.....you'd be knocked out ya socks to find out how much love ALOT of them have. They call us HOLLYWOOD out there....why? Cause when they think of Cali...they think HOLLYWOOD with all the stars. Open ya minds a bit and realize this Coast 2 Coast shit is old.

Playa Rae.

Y'all talkin about how "this song by so and so should be on the radio"...But yet I've put it out there MULTIPLE TIMES that I'm a mixshow director at a COMMERCIAL STATION and to SEND ME PRODUCT TO PLAY, yet I can count on one hand how many have ACTUALLY sent me their shit! East coast cats are real about following through and sending me packages...Too many cats from the Bay talk big but then never follow thru with shit...That's why we ain't blowin up! Closed mouths don't get fed...While I may not be at the BIGGEST station, we ARE the ONLY station that REGULARLY rotates Bay Area Music, so in MY opinion we should be the number one priority on artists lists...Yet we're not...Theyd rather sit back and cry about how Wild an KMEL don't "give them no love"....Fuck that, I'm through rantin...But please believe if I get somethin dope, I play it. And I get ALOT more from EAST COAST indie labels than Bay labels...How sad is that?

Respond...oh PLEASE respond

That's stupid that no one from the Bay is getting you their music. I almost never listen to the radio, but I have tuned into your station recently and you guys are trying to support the Bay shit. I haven't actually tuned to KMEL in a couple years honestly.

Send Mark some music shit necks.

I think its all fine and dandy having love for the bay area and all, but like its been said time and time again, the world is bigger than the bay. The network is a powerful tool, but if you keep your mind closed, you lose opportnities that may open doors for you.

Bottom line is, cats in New York are getting beaded, in the indie circuit and beyond. How mnyof ya'll on here paid your ren and bills with your last royalty check? ok then....
