i was having this discussion today with my friend - we was talking bout how to cook trout. this is after gutting it, and filleting it.

he likes his fish breaded and fried like fried chicken. which is fine, i ain't picky if you gon cook it that way.

but me personally, i would rather have it more simple and natural - jsut the fish itself with some olive oil spread all over and some dill, pepper and salt. and some lime or lemon squeeze on the plate.

i like my method of cooking cuz you get to actually taste the whole fish.

his way you do taste the fish, but you also taste the breading, which kinda ruins the experience of tasting the fish.

like i said i aint picky bout it, but everytime i tried to search google on what others thought about the subject, i'd get BREEDING FISH, GOOGLE YOU WORTHLESS SACKS OF SHITS.

so for the ones that say fried. do you still get the fish taste even if it's breaded? - i mean does the breading bring out the taste of the fish more?

kinda like when one puts salt on the fries, it brings the taste of the fries out.

i might have to give it a try, even though im skeptical of the results.

I don't know about Trout, but with catfish...I always cover the fish with egg, then dip it in organic all-purpose flour and fry it with organic olive oil. Depending on how I feel, I might use organic coconut oil from time to time.
