I built my current rig 2 and a half years ago, put in a 10 year old DVD drive from another computer, used it one single time and that was just to load the OS on the computer lol
most PC games are digital, a lot of stores don't even sell PC games anymore.
Places like Steam, Green Man Gaming, etc. will be the best places to get games.

They cost like 10 bucks lol and you can even get an external one if you don't want to open it up. Just plug via usb, then when your done, put it away.
