My brain feels like fucking sludge. All this business lately been crazy. Today was pretty calm besides a 8yr old kid damn near losing his foot on one of the escalators lol He actually didn't even get hurt somehow but 3/4s of the foot of his boot was lodged between the corner of the a step and bottom of the escalator railing.

Actually we still did 3000 people and it's Monday that's like usually moderate Saturday numbers in general. I guess it being super busy the last couple weeks had that feeling slow in comparison.

I just remembered turning off the outdoor escalators once by the whole foods on denny then putting cones on it and taping it off, and someone asking if someone got hurt

Dude that maintenances ours says he works on at least a couple a year that have just ripped off or gnarled part of someones appendages. Luckily that has never happened at my place. Worst ever was a broken ankle from it twisting some woman's foot while still in her big dumb floppy rain boot that also had a heel for some fucking reason which is what got caught.

She also said she wasn't running her boot up the side or anything but video footage said otherwise and that she was actively and purposely skipping the heel of the boot on the side as she rode down. This woman was in her 30s. She deserved her broken ankle.

I didn't ever believe those things could hurt ppl until i started seeing videos on the Internet. Now im usually really careful when stepping off i make sure my pants arent baggy around my ankle or my shoes aren't untied. I still basically walk up and down those things super fast though
