lol made a fucking bad rookie mistake tonight. my car has been slowly leaking oil for the past few weeks and i decided to put a bit more in today before work. i put some in then went back to the garage to find some more but couldnt find any so went back to the car and shut the hood. got to work and could smell burning oil so i opened the hood and found that i hadnt put the oil cap back on. luckily it had only a small amount of oil in it otherwise i would have a pretty big mess to clean up. still got a little oil leaking out but not much. annoyed that i will probably have to go buy another oil cap tomorrow as my old one is somewhere between here and work.

its leaked from nearly full to nearly empty in about a month, but i havent looked at it enough to know where its coming from. gotta get a fair bit fixed so hopefully doing that next week.
