I am a sys admin / sys engineer ....it lightweight sucks.
(well, not fully ....but I daydream of winning the lotto everyday, if that means anything)
& if you wanna learn programming languages, I'd suggest learning Ruby first, then Python, then C++ ....most people start backwards. Thats a mistake.
That's good info to know because I've done exactly that. I've never known why to learn Ruby or Python though, aren't they a lot less used?
I've tried my luck with some Java, C and C++, never quite passed the learning curb. I can make easy shit like basic calculator apps and such but my syntaxes are terrible.
My goal is to learn enough java to code android programs. I have had enough game ideas that literally have made millions (I wanted to make draw something way before it came out). The touchscreen games that appeal to the largest audiences (fruit ninja, draw something etc.) are generally the easiest to make.
Also how is the money in system admin?
