That's the best way to go.

If you're not immediately great at something you should quit and never try again.

If that's what you want to do, then do it. Practice and get better.

Slacker.
It wasn't my dream career or nothing just something that interested me because the cross of both being technical and trade work.

My dream career is athlete, obviously a dead issue. My ideal career has been computer programming, my main issue with it is most careers want you to know multiple programming languages which is hard when I have trouble grasping one.

I'm thinking my ideal career would be some kind of an IT for a bank or something along those lines. And when I'm older a systems admin, I have a hell of a lot of knowledge just not the credentials hence why I wanna go to college now.

I am a sys admin / sys engineer ....it lightweight sucks.
(well, not fully ....but I daydream of winning the lotto everyday, if that means anything)

& if you wanna learn programming languages, I'd suggest learning Ruby first, then Python, then C++ ....most people start backwards. Thats a mistake.

That's good info to know because I've done exactly that. I've never known why to learn Ruby or Python though, aren't they a lot less used?

I've tried my luck with some Java, C and C++, never quite passed the learning curb. I can make easy shit like basic calculator apps and such but my syntaxes are terrible.

My goal is to learn enough java to code android programs. I have had enough game ideas that literally have made millions (I wanted to make draw something way before it came out). The touchscreen games that appeal to the largest audiences (fruit ninja, draw something etc.) are generally the easiest to make.

Also how is the money in system admin?
