I mean you can tell they were definitely influenced by trap music but in my opinion the straight up drill songs don't really sound like trap songs at all to me.

Besides the violence, drugs, and guns references, which predates both in rap anyways, I really don't hear it. I can hear the influence but there is no way I could confuse where the songs were from.

So you can disagree all you like that's cool but in my opinion it's not the same shit.
