The dude Omar is based on is the guy Butchie sends to protect Omar while he's in prison. A ton of the actors in the show are criminals, or cops; a lot of which actually arrested the other actors. They really need to make a documentary on the show. It's pretty incredible.
yeah, the big dude wearing the knit scull cap right? A documentary would be awesome. You should read 'homicide' by david simon. Its a book based on when he was working for the baltimore sun and following around bmore homicide detectives. A lot of the characters from both homicide:life on the beat and the wire, come from real people he describes in that book.

Why can't you just, like, get regular internet?

Maybe I missed where you said it before or something.
My apartment I moved in to last month has a contract with Cox Cable so I can only get Cox Cable internet here. Unfortunately when I first moved back to Phoenix last year I had Cox for the first 3 months and they kept fucking my bill up every month, they charged me like $500 every month, for the first two months they fixed all the charges, for the third month they refused and said there's no way they keep messing up and I had to have actually ordered every movie package, every sport package, every channel package, plus PPV's and they refused to credit and fix my account the third month, so I disconnect service and left.

So now I have a $367 past due balance they say I owe them, I called them again a few days ago to see if they can fix it this time and they still refused. So basically I gotta flush $367 down the toilet if I want their internet.

Fuck Cox Cable

you thought wrong, ese. he was just in a group with master p & alley boy for some mixtapes

0R0 @0R0 , you finished homeland yet? I'm watching the last episode of the season rit now, so dont spoil it.
i watched it earlier, my dumbass thought the show had 10 eps a season & that when brodie made it across the border it was the finale/cliffhanger.

anyway the eps/real finale were decent, better than season 2. was that the series finale?

This contract my apartment has don't even make sense either, they say I can't get any other internet service, but yet they'll allow Directv and Dish Network for TV services. I even called Century Link DSL who I've been with for the last year to see if they can work something out and they said they can't touch my apartment cause of the Cox Cable contract.

How the fuck is monopolizing internet at an apartment complex legal

stupidest group choice ever.

I dunno if that was the series finale, it sure seemed like they were trying to open up new story lines with the pregnancy, reassignment to istambul as well as Dar Adal implying Saul might be hired back.

*someone* i know owes comcast several thousand dollars under tons of fake names. Its pretty easy to open an account as a "roomate" of the person on the lease. Id assume this applies to cox cable as well.

trel & alley are both great solo artists, percy was just trying to force a comeback

yea they left it pretty open tho, i'd be satisfied if that was it. i dont want to deal with dana being aj soprano from season 6 if they bring her back.

Went to Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago to look for it actually. No dice. I'll definitely pick it up eventually though. I'm pretty addicted to the Wire. Usually watch it all the way through, then start it right back over.

Im impressed with how far they rebounded after the disaster that season 2 was. I'd def watch a fourth. And hopefully the whole brody family is out of the picture, we so no dana reboot. They p much killed that story line in the last few episodes anyway.
